Shelly Beach Now here's a wild looking day! This is Mark on the ocean side of the Shelly Beach headland near Manly. A really good rain storm hit soon afterwards. Oh, did I mention I like rain? Especially when there's heaps of it, and when its accompanied by thunder and lightning. There's nothing like a good demonstration of the power of nature to remind us how little we really can control.

The panorama above is the view back into Manly Cove from Tania Park (Dobroyd Point). A harbour ferry can be seen just pulling out from Manly Wharf. Between the wharf and the ocean is Manly's famous corso, and surf-front lined with Norfolk Island pine trees.
