Now here's a wild looking day! This is Mark on the ocean side of the Shelly Beach headland near Manly. A really good rain storm hit soon afterwards. Oh, did I mention I like rain? Especially when there's heaps of it, and when its accompanied by thunder and lightning. There's nothing like a good demonstration of the power of nature to remind us how little we really can control. |

Manly Cove from Tania Park (Dobroyd Point). A harbour ferry can be seen
just pulling out from Manly Wharf. Between the wharf and the ocean is
Manly's famous corso, and surf-front lined with Norfolk Island pine trees.
